Term One
In writing, we will look at narratives, looking at different styles and extend on learning from Year 5. We will also be covering character descriptions.
In reading all groups will look at consistently reading for meaning and then we will narrow in on individual learning intensions based on outcomes from the AsTTle reading assessment and classroom observations.
In spelling, we will look at a spelling pattern or rule every week. Some words based on this will be added to each student's spelling list as well as unknown words from the student's levelled list based on the assessment from week 2.
